How recovery runs
- 1. Inventory, send a device list and rough quantities. Rough is fine; we'll refine it.
- 2. Valuation, priced against the live market, per unit, per condition.
- 3. Collection, free freight, or free pickup in DFW, with chain of custody from the door.
- 4. Sanitize + grade. NIST 800-88 Purge, IMEI/serial screened, certificate per asset.
- 5. Settle, one payout per batch the same day inspection completes, plus a per-device report.

What is IT asset recovery?+
IT asset recovery is the process of extracting remaining financial value from equipment your business no longer uses, appraising it, sanitizing the data, and selling or redeploying it instead of writing it off. It's the revenue-generating half of ITAD. Disposal makes the assets go away; recovery makes them pay.
How is this different from ITAD or recycling?+
ITAD is the whole lifecycle (recovery + destruction + recycling + reporting). Recycling is the end-of-life step for things with no value left. Asset recovery is specifically about maximizing what you get back. Most vendors lead with disposal and treat recovery as an afterthought, we lead with recovery, because that's where your money is.
How do you decide what a retired device is worth?+
We re-price against 18 competing buyers every single day, roughly 58,000 price points every 24 hours across ~560 devices. Your valuation reflects the live market on the day we inspect, not a stale rate card. We also beat any competitor's written quote by $2.
What do we get for our finance and audit teams?+
A per-device settlement report (device, serial/IMEI, grade, price) so the lot reconciles line by line, plus a Certificate of Data Erasure per asset and chain-of-custody documentation. Finance gets the numbers; IT and audit get the evidence.
What if some devices are broken or worthless?+
That's normal, a real fleet is never all one condition. We price each unit individually (working, damaged or dead), and anything genuinely past value is responsibly recycled at no cost to you. You never receive a bill.
What's the minimum lot size?+
There isn't a hard one. We handle everything from a dozen retired handsets to a full fleet refresh. Common sellers: MSPs disposing of client fleets, warehouses retiring scanners, field-service companies, private schools cycling 1:1 iPads, and offices doing a laptop refresh.
