At inspection
Common Galaxy S24 Ultra issues we check at inspection
- Screen burn-in on Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X display. Ghost images from status bar, navigation buttons, or keyboard visible on OLED panels after extended use. While LTPO helps with refresh rate, burn-in is still a risk with AMOLED.
- Battery degradation below 80% health. Original 5000mAh battery showing <80% maximum capacity after 2+ years of typical use. This is a standard wear item for all lithium-ion batteries.
- Scratches or micro-abrasions on Corning Gorilla Armor display. While Gorilla Armor is more scratch-resistant than previous generations, it is not immune to scratches, especially from keys or abrasive surfaces. These are often visible under direct light.
- Minor scuffs or scratches on Titanium frame. The titanium frame, while durable, can still pick up scuffs and scratches from everyday handling and contact with surfaces.
- Camera lens scratches or smudges. Scratches or persistent smudges on the multiple camera lenses can affect photo quality. Sellers may not clean them properly.
- S Pen functionality issues. The integrated S Pen may have connectivity issues, responsiveness problems, or physical damage (bent tip, etc.).
