At inspection
Common Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra issues we check at inspection
- Screen burn-in on OLED display. Ghost images from status bar, navigation buttons, or keyboard visible on OLED panels after extended use. The large 14.6-inch display is more susceptible due to larger static elements.
- Battery degradation below 80% health. The large 11200mAh battery, while substantial, will naturally degrade over time. Listings often mention reduced battery life.
- Scratches or scuffs on aluminum frame/back. The aluminum build is prone to cosmetic damage from drops or everyday use, especially on the edges and corners.
- Cracked or damaged screen. Physical damage to the large Super AMOLED display, often from drops. This is a primary reason for AS-IS listings.
- Non-functional S Pen or S Pen slot issues. The included S Pen may be lost, damaged, or the charging/pairing mechanism within the tablet's slot might fail.
- Charging port issues. USB-C port wear and tear leading to intermittent charging or data transfer problems.
